Candle Care

To ensure that you get the best possible burn time and scent throw from your candle we recommend that you take the following steps:

Trim the wick to half a centimetre length before you first burn the candle.

Ensure the initial burn is sufficient for the wax to melt to the edge of the vessel.

Burn candle for a maximum of 3 hours at a time.

Extinguish candle with a candle snuffer.

If the candle has a lid make sure it is replaced between burns to retain scent and keep out dust.

Trim the wick between burns for a cleaner brighter burn.  We recommend using a wick trimmer or alternatively sharp scissors.

Always leave a little wax in the jar before returning for a refill.  If the candle is alllowed to burn to base of jar it could damage jar or surface beneath jar.
